No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not embed fonts, maps, videos or scripts from third-party servers, and does not use analytics or tracking tools. All content, including every image, is served directly from our own server. Opening the site therefore creates no connection to third parties and no profile of your behaviour is created. For this reason no cookie banner is required.
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. When the site is accessed, the web server automatically collects data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer, and browser and operating system details. This data is used solely for the technical operation and security of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in secure and uninterrupted operation. This data is not combined with other data sources.
Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide — your name, email address and the content of your message — solely in order to handle and answer your enquiry. The message is transmitted to our email account and stored there. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. The data is not passed on to third parties.
Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us directly by email or telephone, we likewise process your details solely in order to deal with your request. The same legal bases and deletion periods apply as for the contact form.
Data transfers to the United States
AR Investment Group LLC is based in the United States. If you write to us via the contact form or by email, your data may therefore be transferred to the United States and accessed by us there. In the view of the European Court of Justice, the United States does not offer a level of data protection comparable to that of the European Union; in particular, access by U.S. authorities cannot be ruled out. By sending your message you consent to this transfer (Article 49(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.
Encryption
This website is delivered over a TLS-encrypted connection. You can recognise this by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar and by the address beginning with “https://”. Data you submit through the contact form cannot be read by third parties in transit.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you (Article 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16 GDPR), to erasure (Article 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), to data portability (Article 20 GDPR) and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Article 21 GDPR). Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. As a rule, the competent authority is the one at your habitual residence or place of work.
